1937 Imperial
“Black Betty”
Off-FrameConcoursGround-Up Roadster
Overview
Black Betty came in as a 1937 Chrysler Imperial C-14 Roadster with the years showing — faded, weathered, a body that had earned every dent. We took her down to the frame and built her back the only way we know how: no shortcuts, correct throughout, every panel worked by hand until the light ran clean across it.
The result is a ground-up concours roadster in deep Chrysler red — hand-fitted chrome, a period-correct interior, and paint laid, wet-sanded, and polished the way it was done when the car was new. The full build lives on our channel, video by video, exactly as it happened.
